Rogers now offers 200 countries to his customers

Rogers Wireless announced today that voice
roaming on its GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) network is now available in 200 countries. Rogers reached this 200-country milestone on July 24, 2007 with a newly-signed roaming agreement between Rogers Wireless
and the mobile operator, Comium Liberia Inc. in the African nation of Liberia.
Rogers has over 500 roaming partners worldwide.

Today, if you are one of the 7 million customers who chose Rogers Wireless or Fido, you have access to voice roaming in 200 countries and you can choose among the country's best and broadest selection of GSM devices, from TyTN of HTC to the RIM Blackberry Curve.”
Since the launch of Rogers' GSM network in July 2001, the GSM subscriber base worldwide has exploded from 500 million to more than 2.5 billion. Over 82% of the world's wireless subscribers are on a GSM network; making it the
most widely used wireless technology in the world.
